Waterfront community unveils project in Abu Dhabi

AED10 billion ($2.72 billion) waterfront community unveiled Jubail Island Projects in Abu Dhabi amid growing demand for new units.

Scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2025, Ain Al Maha Village includes 240 villas built along waterways with views of the sea and mangroves.

The Jubail Island Investment Company (JIIC) said on Monday that the project will also include work to improve the coast and natural waterways, turning Ain Al Maha into an island within an island, with half of the villas facing the waterfront.

“Al Maha Village has been carefully designed and we focus on secluded island living,” said JIIC Managing Director Mounir Haidar.

“The estuary park and waterway will be a prominent landmark in the village, while the enhanced coastline will provide natural beach frontage, giving people the opportunity to relax, recharge or relax.”

The project will also feature a community center, including shopping, dining, education and medical facilities.

The wider Jubail Island development, located in saadiyat i. and Yas Islandwill have six residential village houses covering more than 400 hectares and is expected to accommodate 10,000 residents within four years.

JIIC said that 95% of the infrastructure works on Jubail Island have been completed, while 40% of the villas are still under construction.

Last month, JIIC awarded a Dh40 million contract with Al Dhafra Pipeline and Contracting Company for the construction of a new 66-berth marina in the Marfa Al Jubail community.

Abu Dhabi has also announced a number of other major real estate projects this year.
