Walking into Venice, in the mall…
arrive Cipriani Dolci Marina Shopping Center, it feels like you’ve been transported to Venice and stepped into a luxury yacht with exceptional service. From the start, homemade focaccia dipped in their own olive oil and balsamic vinegar is the perfect way to start the experience.
The drinks are absolutely full of flavour. We ordered Strawberry Field and it was super delicious. The waitress recommended Giorgio as her favourite drink and we can confirm that she tasted good – refreshing and beautiful.

Appetizers include steak tartare and the popular “downtown” salad. The downtown salad is an interesting combination of shrimp, green beans, and olives. All the flavors complement each other surprisingly well.
When ordering the steak tartare, the waitress kindly reminded us that the steak tartare was raw, and took the dad’s joke nicely after being asked to do it well. The steak tartare may have more flavor, but that may be down to personal preference.
For the main course, we ordered various items. The pasta of choice of the day was homemade spinach and ricotta ravioli with butter and sage. The portion could have been a little bigger, but due to its lack of size it made up for it in flavour. The small sea bass with broccoli was cooked to perfection. We also ordered the eggplant “alla parmigiana” and the overall taste was good. However, the eggplant slices were a little thicker than would like, and it lacked the melted bubbly cheese you might expect from this dish.
save the best for last
For the actual main event, the famous dessert of Cipriani Dolci. Of course, we had to order their famous vanilla meringue and order the pistachio ice cream and crème brûlée. Dessert is a complete showcase.
The meringue is light and fluffy. Pistachio ice cream with caramelized pistachios and black cherries is quite possibly the best ice cream ever. It tasted like it was whipped with love.
The passion fruit and mango pudding has a tartness that breaks the sweetness of the dessert perfectly.
Conclusion: At the end of the meal, we needed a forklift to drop us off. But overall it was a great lunch, incredible service paired with delicious food, always a delightful experience.
