Wendy Williams was reportedly hospitalized due to mental health issues

According to reports, Wendy Williams has been hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation.

TMZ According to reports, Wendy was taken to the hospital on Tuesday, the day before the announcement of the new season of the “Wendy Williams Show” was postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test.

A source close to Wendy told TMZ that she voluntarily was admitted to a New York City hospital for a psychological evaluation and that she had had mental health problems for some time.

While dealing with her mental health problems, Wendy was also infected with COVID, but it is reported that she has no symptoms and doctors are continuing to monitor her physical health.

It is not clear when Wendy will be released, but it sounds like the situation is getting better because sources say her mental health continues to improve every day.

Her team posted an official statement on her Instagram account and said: “While continuing the health assessment, Wendy’s breakthrough case of COVID-19 has tested positive. In order to give Wendy time to isolate and complete To resume and ensure that our production complies with all SAG/AFTRA and DGA COVID agreements, we hope to start the 13th season of the Wendy Williams Show on Monday, October 4.”

Last week, the producer also revealed that Wendy is dealing with “persistent health problems” and will not participate in the program’s promotional activities while being evaluated.
