Job seekers will be the biggest beneficiaries of the UAE’s new visa regulations, with experts predicting an influx of jobs in the country.

This New visa regulationseffective on Monday, October 3which is one of the biggest changes to immigration policy in the UAE in years after it was approved by the cabinet in April.

The job market in the UAE is growing.Last month, the UAE Jobs Portal Beit.com Market research firm YouGov reports that around 70% of UAE companies Plan to hire new employees next year.

Half of companies surveyed plan to hire up to five people New hires for the next three monthswhile 25% will employ 6 to 10 employees.

Who can apply for the new jobseeker visa?

This visa is available for persons at skill level 1, 2 or 3 as defined by the Ministry of Human Resources and the Emirates, and recent graduates of Fortune 500 universities.

It does not require sponsors or moderators.

The minimum education level should be a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

How long is the visa valid for?

The visa is multiple entry and is valid for 60 days.

how much does it cost?

The total cost of the 60-day visa is AED 1,495 (USD 407). A 90-day visa costs AED 1,655 (USD 450) and a 120-day visa costs AED 1,815 (USD 494)

Each job seeker visa includes a refundable security deposit of 1,025 dirhams ($279), according to the website of the Federal Agency for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security.
