Love Island star Kaz Crossley has reportedly been jailed in Abu Dhabi after authorities received a video showing her smoking a white substance in 2020.
Crossley starred in 2018, one of the show’s most popular episodes to date, with a cast that includes Dani Dyer, Georgia Steele and Jack Fincham, among others.
According to British National Television newspaper The 29-year-old was stopped by police in Abu Dhabi on February 17 after a two-year-old video resurfaced.
The video reportedly shows Katz, wearing an orange dress, bending his head toward a table, spraying an unidentified white substance. The video is believed to have been filmed at a party.

The Love Island star has been arrested on suspicion of drug offenses.

Kaz was detained at Abu Dhabi airport and refused to call her family. She was in transit to Thailand via the airport.

A Foreign Office spokesman told a national newspaper: “We are in contact with local authorities following the arrest of a British national in the United Arab Emirates.”

Katz was allowed to send an email after being flagged by authorities as a “red flag,” a source with knowledge of the situation said.
They also said: “She messaged a friend she remembered and asked her to inform her family that she was fine but was arrested for a drug offense. The arrest was not because of anything on her. As far as we know, it all depends on that video.”
As of this writing, the family or authorities have not released the findings of the investigation.
