DUBAI: The FIFA World Cup in Qatar kicks off in a few days, with the first match on 20 November. The contest will run until December 18th. Qatar is expected to host 1 million fans during the game, while the UAE will also expect heavy traffic before and during the game.

The Dubai edition of BudX FIFA Fan Festival, one of only three flagship World Cup fan festivals, will take place in Dubai Harbour. Tickets start at AED 78 and are available on PlatinumList. The venue can accommodate up to 10,000 fans per day. Fans can watch live matches on a custom-designed giant 330-square-meter screen equipped with cutting-edge 4D audio.

Soccer Park at DIFC

The best of both worlds – at this DIFC fan zone, you can look forward to enjoying the game on one of the 30 screens set up outdoors, while admiring stunning views of the Dubai skyline. Visitors to the fan zone must book in advance, and the package is fully redeemable for food and drinks at the venue. Packages start at Dh350 per person.

Dubai Expo City

To create a family-friendly atmosphere, Dubai Expo City will host one of the largest football fan zones in the city. This large football-themed fan city will be divided into two parts. The family-friendly space at Jubilee Park, which can accommodate up to 10,000 guests, will open on November 20. Additionally, the 2,500-guest Al Wasl Elite Experience will open on December 3rd. As part of the festivities, Fan City will host exciting activities including table games, penalty kick activations and face painting for kids, as well as live performances from local DJs and food trucks.

Vox Cinemas across the UAE

In Dubai and across the UAE, Vox Cinemas will air all matches live in conjunction with beIN SPORTS. You can book to watch one, three or five games, or watch a full season pass. Tickets for a match start from AED 59 per person.

Located in Yas Links, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, the 10,000 square meter dedicated fan space was created in collaboration with Miral and AB INBEV.

The main viewing area will feature a huge LED screen measuring 16 x 9 meters, making it one of the largest outdoor screens in the country. All games are televised live, and the supporting Fan Zone programming is packed with family-friendly experiences, including expert commentary, crowd and community games, and non-stop entertainment. There are tiered entry options available, priced at Dh50 for a General Admission pass, Dh95 for an All Game Access pass and Dh950 for a season pass. Tickets can be purchased on Platinumlist.

Hilton Dubai Jumeirah, Dubai

The Hilton Dubai Jumeirah, located within Dubai Marina, will create a “Super Fan Zone” for the tournament. The outdoor venue will have multiple screens and separate fan areas offering different amenities. The destination offers stunning views of Al Ain, Dubai, and there are no age restrictions or entry fees.

With a minimum spend of AED 100, you can get the basic package including drinks, but you can also buy the Platinum or Gold VIP experience for AED 2,500 and AED 1,200 per table respectively.

This fan zone at Precision Football has a 250-square-metre screen that Ibn Battuta promises to football fans, showing all 63 matches and offering a menu that can be served tableside. Fans can book tables, custom lounge areas or VIP decks with individual screens. The venue will also welcome Aitch and AJ Tracey for a live concert on December 3rd.
