The World Commission for the Defense of Human Rights and the United Nations World Peace Research Institute hosted a major awards ceremony titled “Global Vision” on December 23, 2022 at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Dubai. Several celebrities from Bollywood, the world of cricket and other top figures of the world attended the event around the world. Former Miss India and Bollywood star Sonal Chauhan was the guest of honor and Madan Lal Ex Indian coach and contestant was the guest of honor. The event was also attended by Dr. Kabir, Chief Operating Officer, Office of Sheikh Majid Rashid Al Mualla, United Arab Emirates, and Prof. DN Jauhar. WHRPC’s global vision and awards ceremony honored 50 outstanding winners from the fields of education, healthcare, social welfare, information technology and business for outstanding work in their respective fields.
Speaking at the Occasion of Human Rights and Climate Justice: A Global Perspective and Award Ceremony WHRPC Chairman Dr Tapan Rautaray commended the laureates for their contributions in their fields, in his speech Dr Tapan said that it is because of their efforts that our society has become a Better yet, they should continue to do their best to achieve their goals. He also mentioned that due to the outbreak of the corona virus, everyone has gone through the worst phase of their lives for the past two years. The ongoing global healthcare crisis endangers humanity, but there is always a silver lining. Our true unsung heroes – COVID Warriors are Hope, who have fought bravely for us with courage and determination to keep the human fraternity safe. It is important that we honor those who have fought valiantly and served humanity during these trying times.
Mr. Madan Lal, the World Cup champion of the Indian cricket team, also praised the winners. According to Madan Lal, awards are always a huge motivator and WHRPC does a great job by recognizing the efforts of individuals and organizations. He also commended Dr Tapan Rautaray for organizing a grand ceremony and honoring the well-deserved recipients.
Ms. Sonal Chauhan, Bollywood actress and chief guest of the event, said in her presentation that the WHRPC has done a fantastic and unparalleled job and it is these winners who are helping to build a stronger country and in the current crisis the world is facing, we There is a need for more and more of these people, selfless and serving the community.
