Prince Harry’s first visit to the UK since the release of his all-telling memoir Spar was unaccompanied by his wife Meghan Markle and their children Archie and Lilybet.
The Duke of Sussex arrived at London’s High Court with a group of high-profile figures on Monday to appear at a hearing accusing him of misusing private information and accusing the United newspaper of illegally gathering information.
As soon as news of Harry’s arrival broke, royal observers began to question whether he had returned from a trip with Meghan and their two children. However, Meghan was not there to support her husband in the lawsuit for security reasons.
King Charles’ youngest son has previously claimed it was too dangerous for him and his family to return to Britain. It is unclear whether the Sussexes will attend the king’s coronation in May.
Another reason Meghan may have avoided traveling with her husband may be that the couple didn’t want their children to disrupt their schedules by traveling for such a short amount of time, with the court hearing only lasting four days.
However, Harry’s latest trip has raised hopes that he will be part of his dad’s landmark summer campaign.
There is another question about Harry’s whereabouts in the UK, as earlier this month, it was confirmed that King Charles had told the Duke to evict them from their UK base. Harry is reportedly staying with pop legend Elton John at Frogmore Cottage, which was a gift to the couple at their wedding from the late Queen Elizabeth II.
