Car reviewers around the world say that switching to a hybrid Toyota C-HR brings huge benefits in terms of fuel economy.

The Toyota C-HR started out with just a range of petrol engines, but has since moved into the hybrid category, which helps keep fuel costs down for owners.

The car is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and a small electric motor connected to the main engine.

At 24 kilometers per liter, the front-wheel-drive motor also has an energy monitor, which shows exactly how the power is being produced – whether by the engine, the electric motor, or a mix of the two.

If you want to buy this model, it will cost you around AED 87,000.

The Ford Puma EcoBoost includes hybrid technology, but it won’t run solely on electric power.

Instead, the electric motor supports the gasoline engine when needed, delivering extra power and up to 20 percent faster acceleration. Powered by a one-liter EcoBoost engine, the motor also uses regenerative braking technology to charge the battery, helping to improve the vehicle’s fuel economy.

The Puma has a maximum range of 23 kilometers per liter, and you should pay AED 115,000 for the new model.

The car was introduced to the market a decade ago, but received a facelift a few years ago. It’s still favored by those who want to drive a large car but don’t want to overpay for fuel.

Being a plug-in hybrid, this means you can charge the car’s onboard battery using a wire that connects to a slow home or high-power charging station.

The car’s 2.4-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine is capable of holding 43 liters of fuel, and its fuel economy makes it stand out in a market where rising fuel prices are making headlines.

It has a maximum travel speed of 50 kilometers per liter and can reach 100 km/h in 10.5 seconds.

According to Cars24, you can buy a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV for Dh140,000 to Dh150,000 in the UAE.

Note that the full petrol version is much cheaper at AED 79,500.00 to AED 117,900, which shows the high cost of the hybrid and its battery.

The car’s engine is smaller than the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, and its size guarantees good fuel economy of up to 23 kilometers per liter. In the UAE, a Kia Niro sells for around AED 95,000.

When equipped with front-wheel drive, the vehicle can travel about 14 kilometers per liter.

The Corolla Cross is the first model in the world to use the brand’s new fifth-generation self-charging full-hybrid powertrain. Toyota says the powertrain provides more “torque and power, more efficiency and more driving pleasure.”

A base model costs around AED 110,000.
