[ad_1]

Following the news Drakeo The Ruler passed away, Wiz Khalifa calls for peace and respect in the entertainment industry. The artist spoke on Twitter on Sunday afternoon. In two tweets, he challenged artists to show more love in the coming year.

“As artists, let’s try some sh*t next year,” Wiz tweeted. “Take care of our own business. Don’t disrespect each other’s family, the deceased, or the area where they came from. Stop using another person’s important other as another person’s. Actually show the same love you expect.”

Violence in the entertainment industry

This information indicates that we have seen violence against entertainers not only last weekend, but also last year. As mentioned earlier, Drakeo The Ruler was stabbed at the Huang Feihong Music Festival in Los Angeles on December 18. This large-scale event is led by Snoop Dogg, and there are dozens of performing artists on the tickets, including Drakeo. Several reports stated that the rapper was in the background when the stabbing occurred. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Drakeo died of his injuries.

Like Wiz, Snoop also Call for peace After an accidental death. In a statement, Snoopy expressed his condolences and said that he was in the room when Drakeo was killed and came to the event to “spread a positive atmosphere.” According to his words, he left immediately after being informed of the stabbing incident.

“I pray for all those affected by the tragedy,” Snoop wrote. “Please take care, love each other, and stay safe. I am praying for peace in HIP HOP.”

The passing of young Dorf

About a month before Drakeo’s death, Young Dolph Was shot In Memphis. When buying cookies at Makeda’s Butter Cookies, several gunmen shot from outside the store, killing Dolph.

Wiz Khalifa made it clear that his proposal for next year is not the end, but violence. However, in his eyes, this is a beginning.

“It’s not that these are the direct causes of violence, but changing them may help,” Witz wrote on Twitter.
