Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will launch direct flights to Turkey’s capital Ankara early next year.
From January 19, 2023, it will start three weekly flights to Ankara on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Tickets for these flights are already available, with the ultra-low-cost airline offering one-way fares from AED 149 on the route.
As such, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will have flights to multiple destinations in the region, including Alexandria (Egypt), Almaty (Kazakhstan), Amman (Jordan),
Ankara (Turkey), Aqaba (Jordan), Athens (Greece), Baku (Azerbaijan), Belgrade (Serbia), Dammam (Saudi Arabia), Kuwait City (Kuwait), Kutaisi (Georgia), Mina Mai (Bahrain), Male (Maldives).), Muscat (Oman), Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan), Salalah (Oman), Santorini (Greece), Sarajevo (Bosnia), Sohag (Egypt), Tel Aviv (Israel), Tirana (Albania) and Yerevan (Armenia), among others.
Wizz Air Abu Dhabi also said it has added a new Airbus A321neo aircraft to its fleet. The Ankara route will be operated by this fifth new aircraft.

In a related development, Wizz Air recently started operating flights between Saudi Arabia and Italy. The Dammam-Rome route is one of 23 new routes Wizz Air has confirmed to operate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
