Wizz Air Abu Dhabi receives its fifth aircraft and expands its network with a new route to Ankara, Turkey

• The opening of the Ankara route is in line with the national airline’s expansion plans and will be operated by the fifth aircraft that recently joined the fleet

Abu Dhabi, UAE: Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s ultra-low-cost national carrier, has launched its latest route to Ankara, the capital of Turkey and the country’s second most populous city. The move reaffirms the airline’s commitment to providing travelers with the opportunity to explore a multitude of experiences across multiple destinations within its network.

The new route will enable Wizz Air Abu Dhabi to provide hassle-free and affordable travel for tourists and residents in the UAE and throughout the region. Since opening in January 2021, the national airline currently flies to more than 36 destinations within a five-hour flight from Abu Dhabi. Flights to Ankara will begin on 19 January 2023 and will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.Tickets are already on sale wizzair.com and airline mobile apps, with fares as low as AED 149*.
