World Logistics Passport (WLP), a Dubai-led global initiative to facilitate the flow of world trade, has signed two memorandums of understanding with the Thai Logistics Service Providers Federation (TLSPF) and the Thai National Shippers Council (TNSC).
The MoU aims to facilitate the growth of Thai exporters’ and shippers’ logistics businesses, increase trade opportunities, and reduce costs through WLP’s global network of international traders and freight forwarders.
The signing ceremony was held at Anantara Palm Island, Dubai, and was signed by Mahmood Al Bastaki, General Manager of World Logistics Passport, Suwit Ratanachinda, Chairman of Thailand Federation of Logistics Service Providers, and Dr. Chaichan Chareonsuk, Chairman of Thailand National Shippers Council. The meeting was attended by Jurin Laksanawisit, Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, and Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Chairman of Dubai Ports, Customs and Free Zones Corporation (PCFC) and member of the WLP Steering Committee, as well as other senior representatives of the Thai delegation, DP World and WLP.

Thai exporters are now able to access fast-track, cost-effective delivery of their goods market access, reduce customs clearance time and eliminate administrative costs.”
