Vistula Spit opens

Construction of the first phase of the Vistula Spit has ended, marking a historic moment for Poland. The canal will allow ships to avoid Russian-controlled waters on their way to Polish territory. Polish President Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki participated in the official celebration. Reporting from Kazimierz Łysiak of TVP World.

83rd anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Poland

83 years ago, on September 17, 1939, the Red Army violated the Polish-Soviet non-aggression pact and invaded Polish territory to enforce the secret Ribbentrop-Molotov pact signed with Nazi Germany. The alliance of two totalitarian regimes has plunged Poland into one of the darkest periods in its history.

Expose more Russian atrocities

The scale of the atrocities committed by the invading Russians began to emerge as Ukrainian forces successfully recaptured thousands of square kilometers of the Kharkiv region. Investigators, forensic experts and war crimes prosecutors began exhuming hundreds of civilians in the city of Izium.
