Germany has protested Iran’s sale of kamikaze drones to Russia in front of the Iranian embassy in the Polish capital, refusing to accept financial responsibility for war crimes committed in Poland during World War II. This and more are in Monday’s edition of World News.

A week after mass strikes in Kyiv and other Ukrainian towns, Russia has struck again. Multiple attacks have been reported across the country since Sunday night, with the capital being attacked again in the early hours of Monday.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and his minions can now face justice. The Baltic states have unveiled a proposal to create a special court to prosecute Russia for war crimes in Ukraine. The announcement was made by Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia ahead of the EU Foreign Affairs Committee meeting.

The Russians appeared to be using their old tricks as Norwegian police detained several Russian “tourists” who were secretly flying drones near Norwegian offshore oil platforms and carrying tons of sophisticated photography equipment with them.

A series of cyberattacks swept across Bulgaria this weekend. Preliminary investigations have identified Russian hackers as possible perpetrators. It was the latest in a series of similar attacks since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.
