According to the police and fire departments, the incident happened at 4.30 am in the Shahid Nagar district of the Bayezid Bostami police station.
Nurnahar Begum, 30, and her two children, Maruf, one, and Fariza Akhtar, three, were among the victims of the burns, along with their neighbor Imam Uddin Iman, 23.
