Dhaka [Bangladesh]May 28 (ANI): At least four people including a woman and her two children were injured in a fire that broke out in Chittagong on Sunday, Dhaka Tribune reported.

According to the police and fire departments, the incident happened at 4.30 am in the Shahid Nagar district of the Bayezid Bostami police station.

Nurnahar Begum, 30, and her two children, Maruf, one, and Fariza Akhtar, three, were among the victims of the burns, along with their neighbor Imam Uddin Iman, 23.

According to the central control center of the Chittagong Fire Station, a fire broke out in a shanty town in East Shahidnagar district at around 4:30 a.m. local time, Bangladesh-based Dhaka Tribune reported.

After the call, two fire departments responded and had the fire under control within an hour. The fire destroyed six tin shacks, according to fire officials.
