LONDON, May 1 (AP) – Former U.S. President Donald Trump traveled to Scotland on Monday to open a new golf course at his resort near Aberdeen.
Trump and his son Eric were greeted by two bagpipers, a red carpet and a 10-car motorcade as they stepped off a private jet with an American flag on its tail.

“It’s good to be home — it’s my mother’s house,” Trump said before getting into one of his cars.

Trump has announced he will run for president again next year, leaving Scotland for his golf course in Doonbeg on Ireland’s west coast.
