Over the past two semesters, more than 4,500 students from 130 schools, including 10 UAE schools, participated in 14 different sporting events over 35 days of competition. These events include exciting new sports such as archery, touch rugby and cycling, with cycling taking place in the iconic Expo City.
The highlight of term two was the Dubai Schools Games Football Championship, which took place over two weeks at the prestigious Shabab Al Ahli & Al Nasr football clubs. The tournament attracted 1,536 footballers from 37 schools in Dubai, all vying for the title in their respective age groups.
Thanks to its valued partners for their support, including title sponsor Liv. Banks, Introducing Partners; Go Sport, Medical Partners Aster Hospitals & Clinics and Mai Dubai as Hydration Partners, the Olympic Games have been able to deliver a world-class event that is free for all schools and students.

Looking ahead to Term 3, the Dubai Schools Games will kick off on 6 May with the Padel Championships at the World Padel Academy. It will be followed by seven sports including basketball, Unified Games, badminton and volleyball, new additions this year.
In terms 1 and 2, the Dubai Schools Games awarded an impressive 840 medals to outstanding students, while in term 3 they were eagerly awaiting a new youth championship.
