New Delhi [India]Jan 13 (ANI): Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Friday said the global south needs to forge new partnerships and mechanisms to have its voice reflected in the decision-making table.
“We need new partnerships and mechanisms to bring the voice of the global south to the decision table,” Goyal told a meeting of commerce and trade ministers at the global south summit.

Ministers from 13 countries joined Goyal in a session on the theme ‘Developing Synergies in the Global South: Trade, Technology, Tourism, Resources’.
“‘Developing Synergies in the Global South: Trade, Technology, Tourism, Resources’ is an appropriate theme for the context in which we currently find ourselves. These are the key pillars of development for countries in the Southern Hemisphere. The South,” said the Secretary of Commerce.
