The TMM will be preceded by a second Tourism Expert Working Group meeting on March 14-15. During the meeting, dignitaries will discuss and finalize the joint tourism action, which will then be adopted at the SCO tourism ministers meeting on March 17.

The joint action plan will be adopted during the SCO tourism ministers meeting in Kashgar on March 17. Notably, India has assumed the rotating presidency of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in 2023. (ANI)
