World News | Indian envoy to US asks TAC security firm to help startups in Punjab

California [US]31st October (ANI): Indian Ambassador to the US Taranjit Singh Sandhu met TAC Security founder and CEO Trishneet Arora in California and urged him to help startups in Punjab.

On Twitter, Sandhu said: “From Punjab to California! Great interaction with young entrepreneur @TrishneetArora, founder & CEO @tac_security, leading cybersecurity firm. Discussed cyber threats, technology & knowledge and Impact of mentoring and skills development. Encouraged him to help start-ups in India, including Punjab.”

According to a press statement issued by TAC Security following the meeting with Ambassador Sandhu, Trishneet said: “He was impressed with what we were doing at TAC Security and encouraged me to help entrepreneurs in India and my home state of Punjab. I will definitely give back. There is more than one way to the homeland,” he said, adding, “Ambassador Sandu is very concerned about the future of Indian youth, especially in Punjab. I will give him any support in this matter.”

Sharing more details about his meeting, Trishneet said: “I shared my vision to tackle cybersecurity threats, which have snowballed into serious global challenges with him. We primarily discussed how India and the US can Cooperation and intelligence on terror.”

TAC Security is a global cybersecurity company specializing in vulnerability management. Trishneet was included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list and asked Sandhu to give IIT-Ropar the same status as IIT-Delhi or IIT-Mumbai.

“Although Punjab is a startup community, there are few success stories in Punjab in the startup community. Therefore, Punjab needs to push forward various initiatives such as Indian startups launched under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” He says.

According to the statement, Trishneet sees the need to further improve and expand the enabling ecosystem of Indian IT companies, which was also on the agenda of Trishneet’s meeting with Sandhu. “Starting in India, companies have to move their bases to the US for investor-friendly laws and regulations. Innovation-focused companies prefer the US to India to protect intellectual property,” he added.

Arora also recently met with New Mexico Lieutenant Governor Howie Morales and Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham to discuss cybersecurity.

Meanwhile, the Indian envoy delivered a speech at Columbia University on the same day. “We, are delighted to be here today with @Columbia on India @75 and Partnership @75. A rich night, heart-wrenching moments, outstanding panelists and passionate sharp minds! Talking about the incredible Journey and how partnership can be a ‘force for global good’!” Sanhu said in a tweet.
