New Delhi [India]February 13 (ANI): Union Defense Minister Shri Giridhar Aramane held a bilateral meeting with three defense delegations on the sidelines of Aero India 2023 in Bengaluru on Sunday, according to an official statement from the Ministry of Defense.
Alamein met with Saudi Arabia’s general manager of industrial relations, Engturki Saad, and discussed some issues of bilateral defense cooperation.
A U.S. delegation led by Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Indo-Pacific Security Jedijaya P. Royal, accompanied by Chargé d’affaires Elizabeth Jones of the U.S. Embassy and the U.S. Air Force, met with Secretary of Defense Julian Chet and the secretary of the Bundeswehr.
Alamein then met with another Omani delegation led by Defense Secretary-General Mohammad Nasser al-Zabi to review ongoing defense cooperation. In talks with coalition defense ministers, discussions focused on increasing the depth and scope of engagement.

The event will also help integrate domestic MSMEs and start-ups into global supply chains and attract foreign investment, including partnerships for co-development and co-production.
Aero India 2023 has already attracted participation from more than 80 countries. Ministers from 30 countries and 65 CEOs of global and Indian OEMs are likely to attend Aero India 2023.
The event will also see the participation of more than 800 defense companies, including about 100 foreign and 700 Indian companies.
Key exhibitors at Aero India 2023 include Airbus, Boeing, Dassault Aviation, Lockheed Martin, Israel Aerospace Industries, Brahmos Aerospace, Army Aviation, HC Robotics, Saab, Safran, Rolls-Royce, Larsen & Topal, Bharat Forge Limited, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) ), Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) and BEML Limited.
