We’ve been able to overcome the challenges in a way that I think is responsible and mature,” Puri said in India at the U.S. Ambassador Taranjit Singh Sandhu said at a reception for him.

“I don’t think we’ve had an energy shortage affecting any part of our population, including parts of the Northeast that are experiencing severe flooding. Puri, who is also secretary of housing and urban affairs, said after Washington, D.C., that he would travel to Houston to get more energy from U.S. companies to provide more and greener fuels for the transition to sustainable energy.
