New Delhi [India]April 8 (ANI): A delegation from Mongolia visited several Buddhist pilgrimage sites in India, praising India for promoting peace through spiritism, which helps in resolving ongoing wars and conflicts in the world.
The delegation, led by the Seventh Naropanchen Rinpoche, director of the Naropachen Trust Fund and founder of Naropa Monastery, met with Indian Buddhist scholars and officials of the International Buddhist Council (IBC) in New Delhi.

The Mongolian delegation consists of 40 people, including artists, journalists, businessmen, anthropologists, historians, etc.
Naropa Rinpoche told ANI, “We have a lot to learn from India. It is peaceful, calm and very tolerant of each other. These good qualities inspire us”.
He added: “The Mongols appreciate the ancient wisdom of India, a country where people have learned from ancient times how to train the mind, how to analyze and how to use concrete methods to train our mind logically. This is our source of inspiration. We take spiritual inspiration from our Indian brothers and sisters. This ancient Buddhist knowledge offers a very holistic approach that can be used to solve the problems, wars and conflicts facing humanity today.”
The Mongolian delegation will also attend the upcoming Global Buddhist Congress in New Delhi.
Naropa Rinpoche added: “The upcoming World Buddhist Conference, which I look forward to being very beneficial, because Buddhism teaches us that happiness should come from within ourselves. While we have many material advancements that make our lives very comfortable, they do not A happy life is guaranteed. That is why this symposium will discuss the well-being of the world and how Buddhist knowledge and traditions can help us resolve the conflicts and problems we face all the time.”
Jangchup Choedon Rinpoche, Deputy Secretary-General of the IBC said: “India and Mongolia have had a strong relationship for a long time. Naropa Rinpoche led a delegation to India and visited several Buddhist spiritual places in the country. They met with the Dalai Lama His Holiness also.”

She added: “I think we should use these connections to re-establish and reaffirm our relationship with Buddhist countries like Mongolia, because we should realize that although Mongolia is far from India, the Buddhism of that era has reached there, so It is obviously the medium through which people in other parts of the world learn about India.
