Peace [Bolivia]Jan. 21 (ANI): Foreign Minister Meenakashi Lekhi arrived in the Bolivian capital La Paz on Saturday, the last leg of her four-nation tour.
The foreign minister announced earlier that this will be her first visit to Bolivia.
“On my first bilateral visit to Bolivia, I arrived in La Paz, the highest capital in the world. Looking forward to interacting with the Foreign Minister and other dignitaries to review cooperation. Will participate in activities to strengthen relations between India and Bolivia,” Minister Leahy said in her wrote in an official post on the Twitter account.
During the visit, the Minister will call on President Luis Arce Catacora, hold talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Hydrocarbons and Energy and other dignitaries, and review the cooperation between the two countries.

Lekhi visited Cuba on January 13-14, starting her eight-day official visit. During her visit to Cuba, she met with Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel to discuss important bilateral matters as well as political and economic cooperation. On the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries on January 12, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the two countries are willing to continue to strengthen bilateral friendly and cooperative relations.
Lekhi then traveled to Guatemala from January 15 to 17, where he met with Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammatte and the Vice President. She also held detailed discussions with the Ministers for Foreign Affairs, the Economy, Public Health and Social Assistance, and Energy and Mines on a range of topics. She interacted with the Indian community living there and thanked them for their contribution to strengthening India-Russia relations.
