Kathmandu [Nepal]May 6 (ANI): One person was killed and four others were injured when a Simrik helicopter crashed at Bhotkhola Rural Municipality-4 in Sankhuwasabha district on Friday, Kathmandu Post reported.
Local Bhawin Gurung was killed in a car accident at 1.10pm after the helicopter collided with a tree, according to Police Deputy Commissioner Birendra Godar.
According to the Kathmandu Post, Gurung was assisting the crew as they loaded and unloaded the helicopter.
Captain Surendra Paudel, crew Tshering Bhote and Manoj Thapa, and Nepal Electricity Authority employee Bikram Shankar were seriously injured in the accident.

They were all airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment, the Kathmandu Post reported.
Simrik Air spokesman Murali Dhar Joshi told The Post in Kathmandu that they were out of danger.
Shankar was flown to Kathmandu via another Simrik Air helicopter after being unable to receive further treatment at the Sankhuwasabha District Hospital. Three other people injured in the crash have been taken to Kathmandu from the accident scene.
The helicopter, registered 9N-AJZ, is delivering supplies to the Upper Arun hydropower project site.
