KATHMANDU, May 4 (PTI) — Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Thursday appointed three new ministers in his cabinet, bringing the number of ministers in the Council of Ministers to 22, including two state ministers.

The newly appointed ministers include Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dhanraj Gurung, Health and Population Minister Mohan Bahadur Basnet and Youth and Sports Minister Dig Bahadur Limbu.

All three ministers belong to the Nepali Congress party.

In the presence of Prime Minister Prachanda, President Ramchandra Poudel sworn in and kept the newly appointed ministers in secrecy at an event in Rastrapati Bhawan.

The three were appointed by the president on Wednesday on the recommendation of Prime Minister Prachanda.
