Islamabad [Pakistan]May 24 (ANI): Pakistan Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said on Wednesday that the government is considering imposing a ban on the Pakistan Justice Movement (PTI) over the May 9 incident, Dawn reported.

Khawaja Asif told media sources in Islamabad that “no decision has been made but it is definitely being reviewed.” He referred to the destruction of military installations across Pakistan on May 9 as PTI chief Imran said, according to the Dawn newspaper. Khan’s planned “coordinated attack”.

According to news reports, ISPR cited the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) statement and the law to justify the arrest of Pakistan Justice Instigation (PTI) chief Imran Khan.

ISPR said a wave of attacks on army property and facilities, as well as chanting of anti-military slogans, was witnessed following the arrest of Imran Khan. It condemned these actions and expressed concern about the tactics used by some elements of the protest groups.
