Dr Javed Akram, vice-chancellor of the University of Health Sciences, said in an interview with Dawn that the virus is acting like a “roller coaster”. “The country will face a similar situation in a few years,” Dr Akram said.
Restrictions must be reinstated to contain the virus, Akram said. He added that the measures would also help tackle the ongoing energy crisis. He said people should go and get vaccinated and those who have already been vaccinated should get a booster shot. (ANI)
