Kyber Pakhtunkhwa [Pakistan]June 26 (ANI): Police in Kohat, Pakistan, arrested two brothers on Sunday for beating their 15-year-old sister for a year, Dawn reported.

The victim came to the relevant police station and told them that her biological brother Rehmat and stepbrother Ahmed had been assaulting her for a long time and warned her if she revealed what happened to anyone, officials said , just killed her.

Officials said the victim told them her brother repeatedly attacked her at home because she had no parents and was forced to live with them, Dawn reported.

Police raided the Merozai area and arrested Rehmat, according to officials. Police also raided the Meian colony and arrested Ahmad from there, they added.

Meanwhile, ARY News reported that a 17-year-old girl had been gang-raped and murdered at Saddar premises in Okara.

The teenage victim’s brother reportedly said that a number of boys in the village had abducted her from their homes.

He also claimed the boys raped her before murdering her and hanging her body from a tree, ARY News reported.
