Peshawar, May 1 (PTI) — Pakistani security forces on Monday claimed to have killed a notorious Pakistani Taliban Movement (TTP) commander who was involved in multiple attacks on law enforcement agencies and polio teams.

Abdul Jabar Shah of the outlawed TTP Gandapur group was killed in an intelligence operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, which borders the South Waziristan tribal area. Two terrorists were also injured in the operation.

Terrorist commanders have been involved in attacks on law enforcement agencies, religious groups, polio teams, and extortion for TTP.

It was the second consecutive success for law enforcement agencies in the region.

The outlawed TTP has increased attacks in recent months and has clearly grown stronger since the Taliban took over Afghanistan.
