SEATTLE (U.S.), Oct. 23 (AP) — A 31-year-old Seattle man was described by police as three days of shooting in a row that left the owner of one business dead and another in critical condition. Situation and leg injury of the car driver.

A suspect shot and wounded the owner of an African import store near Seattle’s Columbia City on Monday, according to authorities. In a probable cause statement filed in King County Superior Court, police said he asked the businessman for a debit card and a PIN, then shot him in the chest after he complied.

Less than 12 hours later, the man also shot at a Tesla driving along Aurora Avenue north of Seattle, injuring the driver’s leg, and parked next to a woman’s vehicle on Tuesday, police said. And fired a shot into her window. She was cut by broken glass, but her three children were not injured.

On Wednesday, the man ambushed and killed D’Vonne Pickett Jr., the owner of The Postman, a package delivery store in Midtown, as Pickett arrived at the business, police said.

The gunman, his childhood friend, had been harassing Pickett online and via text; the probable cause statement said he also showed up at the postman last month before the employee told him to leave.

Hundreds of people attended Pickett’s vigil on Thursday, spelling out his name with candles and placing long-stemmed roses where he fell, The Seattle Times reported.

Pickett’s mother Nicky Chappell said the man had threatened to kill her son and had been harassing him and other family members for more than a year. Chappell has vowed to attend every future court appearance of the man.

The Associated Press did not name the man because he has not yet been charged.

Senior Deputy Prosecutor William Doyle told District Court interim Judge Tien Nguyen at Friday’s hearing: “This defendant is very dangerous, probably the most dangerous defendant this court has ever seen. “

Investigators said surveillance footage from the African import store, Tesla’s exterior cameras and Pickett’s killing were linked to the shooting. Detectives are still examining bullet casings and other evidence.

In addition, a relative of the suspect called 911 on Wednesday to report that he appeared to be mentally ill and “may be traveling around Seattle,” the statement said.

“I found that the suspect’s clothing, build, physique, personal appearance and vehicle were consistent throughout the investigation,” Seattle Police Detective Matthew Atkinson wrote in a probable cause statement.

When the man was arrested Thursday at his South Seattle apartment, he was wearing the same shirt, shorts and shoes as in the video, the statement said. (Associated Press)
