Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India]May 22 (ANI): Security measures have been stepped up in Srinagar as the city hosts the third meeting of the G20 tourism task force, which starts on Monday.

A three-day working group meeting will be held here from 22-24 May.

“All of us at JK have participated actively in this conference and are delighted that this will provide a platform for the city and country of the future,” added Khan.

He also praised the city’s security arrangements.

Imran, the coach of the local sports academy, also said that this G20 will give young people a chance.

In Srinagar, graffiti depicting the beauty and colors of Srinagar covered the walls of the city.

So far, the G20 working group meeting in Jammu and Kashmir will focus on five key priority areas: green tourism, digitalisation, skills, MSMEs and destination management.

The conference aims to enhance economic growth, preserve cultural heritage and promote sustainable development in the region.

The event will witness the participation of G20 member countries, invited countries, international organizations and industry stakeholders. (Arnie)
