dubai [UAE]3rd April (ANI/WAM): The UAE participated in Educational Technology Exhibition and Conference – British Education Training and Technology Exhibition (Bett), held in London from 29th to 31st March.
The UAE team highlighted the country’s technology initiatives and initiatives aimed at boosting the education system and reviewed the latest cutting-edge education technology (EdTech) solutions.
Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education, led the UAE delegation to Bett, which included Dr. Hassan Hassan Al-Muhairi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Curriculum Sector, and senior officials from the Education Sector.
The UAE Pavilion includes many Ministry of Education partners namely United Arab Emirates University, Khalifa University, University of Birmingham Dubai, Sharjah Private Education Authority, Higher Institute of Technology, United Education Press, Mohamed bin Zayed Best Teachers Awards, Emirates Airline, Emirates ICT Innovation Center and UAE School Institute.

Dr Al Falasi emphasized the importance of the event as a global platform for exploring the future of edtech and ways to benefit from its applications.
“The Ministry of Education is keen to participate in this global event to learn about the state-of-the-art global experience in education. We also aim to highlight the UAE’s efforts to upgrade the education system and its leadership in technology and innovation. The UAE is associated with the latest technology Keeping pace so that today’s generation is ready to lead tomorrow’s development process to realize the nation’s aspirations and our wise leadership to achieve sustainable development and build a knowledge-based economy.
The Ministry of Education organized two panel discussions during Bett 2023; the first focused on “Inside the UAE Curriculum”, in line with the UAE’s vision for Centenary 2071 and the need to develop students’ skills to underpin the country’s path to economic and social prosperity for decades to come future skills”.
The second panel discussion, entitled “The UAE as a Global Partner and Regional Education Hub”, discussed the country’s outstanding development in the field of education through the establishment of schools and universities that meet international standards.
In addition, initiatives to attract international academic experts have been launched to improve a comprehensive education model that combines quality education, research sponsorship and encourages innovation. All of these make the UAE an important global partner and regional education hub.
On the sidelines of Bett 2023, Al Falasi held bilateral meetings with education experts and officials in the UK. He visited key educational institutions in the UK to explore ways to strengthen cooperation in the field of education. He also met a number of Emirati students pursuing doctoral programs, commending their efforts to acquire the necessary knowledge to pursue the process of national development and convey the image of Emirati culture to the world.
