Kyiv [Ukraine]July 4 (ANI/Xinhua): Ukrainian government-run Ukrinform news agency quoted U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brinker as saying on Monday that the United States was considering the possibility of providing training to Ukrainian troops.
“I can’t say exact numbers or plans, but I can say I’ve spoken to Pentagon officials,” Brinker said after a visit to Washington.

The ambassador said the United States is working to provide more aid to Kyiv to strengthen Ukraine’s position on the front line.
On June 15, the U.S. embassy in Ukraine tweeted that the U.S. government provided Kyiv with defense aid worth $4.6 billion during the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
According to the embassy, the United States sent Ukraine 26,500 sets of javelins and other anti-armour systems, 1,400 sets of Stinger air defense systems, 108 howitzers and 75,000 sets of body armor and helmets.
