The final leg of the 2022-2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu World Tour (ADGS – Abu Dhabi) will be held at the Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City from 5-7 May.

The tournament offers a total of $1,525,000 in prize money for the first place finisher of the season. After visiting Rio de Janeiro, Miami, Sydney and London, ADGS will complete its season finale in the UAE capital.

Jointly organized by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation (UAEJJF) and Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro (AJP), the event is open to players from clubs and academies around the world.

The tournament will feature children and youth divisions competing on mats on day one, masters on day two and professional on day three.

The event received an overwhelming response, with registrations increasing over the three-day period.

Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice-President of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, said: “The Abu Dhabi Grand Slam is one of the most prestigious Jiu-Jitsu championships in the world and one of the few events where several rounds are held in major events. national capitals and cities.”
