The tweets posted on International Youth Day on Thursday reflected the UAE Vice President’s level of trust in youth leading the country to a higher level.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also said on Twitter that same day that the UAE “proud history is shaped by our people.” .

The UAE has initiated a number of initiatives in the past few years to involve young people in the nation-building process.
In 2016, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid announced the position of Minister of State for Youth Affairs. Shamma bint Suhail bin Faris Al Mazrui is one of the youngest ministers in the world. He was only 22 years old when he was appointed in 2016 and currently holds this position.
