WiFete and Xodus Remedy have teamed up for Jamaica Carnival 2023 to create what organizers are billing as “the largest Saturday Jamaican Carnival event”.

Aldwyn Wayne, CEO and founder of WiPay and sponsor of WiFete, shared his vision to bring the Trinidad Carnival experience to Jamaica alongside major social media and dancehall headlines. He contacted Dream Entertainment general manager Scott Dunn to propose merging the Smirnoff Xodus Remedy event with the WiFete event.

Dunn said two things drew him to the event and collaboration. First, the event aligns with the biggest and best of the Xodus brand, and second, there are a lot of events happening on April 15th, but coming together will guarantee them the biggest festival yet.

The Smirnoff Xodus Remedy will have its own part in the WiFete experience, and Remedy tickets are valid for WiFete. Patrons will have access to a special Xodus area, which still contains drinks.

“The road march element will be removed, but the experience will be enhanced by merging the two event lineups for the same price. Remedy ticket holders will also be able to upgrade their tickets to VIP at the gate for a small fee ,” a press release said.
