Located in the south of Al Raha and facing the edge of Yas Island, Yas Bay is a Dh4 billion leisure and entertainment area, only a few days away from the official launch date on December 1, 2021. Just in time for the Golden Jubilee and Abu Dhabi Formula One celebrations.
To celebrate the grand opening, there will be a daily live performance schedule throughout December. Every weekend starting at 9pm, a firework display blooms in the sky of Yas Island.
The seafront location developed by Miral is packed with more than 30 restaurants and bars, has a 3 km long boardwalk, and will host a scenic leisure pier, Pier71. We initially reported that the opening took place a week ago, But that date was postponed.

Daikan Ramen
One of Dubai’s most popular ramen shops will head to Pier 71 on the Yas Bay Waterfront. This authentic Japanese ramen is famous for its hio, miso and soy sauce noodle soup, and will become a highlight of the capital’s Asian food scene.
La Canita
This Mexican restaurant was conceived and grown in a powerful Toronto cooking factory. As you might expect, the soundtrack from the backyard of Drake, Latin Bistro’s network of venues is straightforward, including Golden Age, Hip Hop, and R&B. This Abu Dhabi outpost is built on the success of the InterContinental Dubai Marina. The team behind the joint venture promised that the capital’s version will be a more refined version with more mature advantages in its interior, menu and soundtrack. Take its mood lighting and manor-style terracotta living wall as an example-conceived by Canadian designer Ian Rydberg of Solid Design Creative. This venue will also have a raw bar, which we hope will shine on the ceviche; an outdoor terrace overlooking the waterfront of Yas Bay; and a separate bar area dedicated to tasting the most polarized Tequila.
Speaking of the project, Hamdan Al Khafaji, owner of La Carnita in the UAE, said: “The 2.0 version of La Carnita will be more mature and improved, which is reflected in the design, music, uniforms, and bar programs, all of which are carefully planned by me and the team.Abu Dhabi has been waiting for venues like this to create hype in the city. ” @lacarnita_dxb
Autumn leaves road
Electric Japanese restaurants and pizzerias in Dubai Design District (D3) are entering a new development project in Yas Bay worth billions of dirhams. With its neon stripes, the badge of honor of the Fashion Interior Academy, and innovative artwork, we feel that Akiba Dori will seamlessly integrate into the community. Akiba Dori is the new outpost of a very cool Tokyo restaurant, which is expected to open around mid-September 2021. This restaurant will be located at Pier 71 in Yas Bay and will feature a terrace with incredible skyline views. It is too early for us to confirm the final menu, but we were told to look forward to some return collections from the Dubai collection. @akibadori
lighthouse
The lighthouse restaurant and concept store will come to Yas Bay in Abu Dhabi. It may be launched in the last quarter of 2021. It will have space for 145 diners. The exciting thing is that it will be licensed. As you would expect from D3’s delightful and deliberately quirky innovation engine, The Lighthouse is not your traditional restaurant. The brand was conceived by Hashem Montasser and Hany Bassiouny and launched in 2017, integrating a gourmet experience with a boutique retail space. They have a selection of books, perfumes and exotic treasures that can be given as gifts to those who are “difficult to buy”. The menu is a bit trendy, we only mean it in the kindest sense. This ensures that you enjoy a delicious breakfast and high-quality coffee, imaginative food creation, health and nutrition will be an important part of the menu logo, if you want, you will be able to become a vegetarian. @thelighthouse_ae
