[ad_1]

YAS HEAT ESPORTS celebrates an important milestone this month, because August 2021 marks the first anniversary of the team’s establishment, when a new era of e-sports in the Middle East begins.

One year later, the UAE team continues to attract people’s attention and attention on the global e-sports arena across multiple platforms and games. In just 12 months, a total of 1,168 games have been participated. YAS HEAT has won 786 podiums (67%), 493 victories (42%) and 9 championships.

There have also been some high-profile partnerships during this period. The collaboration with Microsoft led to the very popular Microsoft GP – which included well-known competitors such as Jamie Chadwick, MaximeMXM and Ramez Azzam – and Pirelli and Richard Mille also added their own special edition eye-catching uniforms .

YAS HEAT Academy also achieved unprecedented success in its first year, discovering regional talents including Khalifa Alqubaisi, UAE, and providing aspiring virtual racers with the opportunity to prove their worth at the highest level. The young candidate also gained expertise on what it takes to become a professional sports star from the academy’s expert lecturer and former England rugby player Tom May.

In the past 12 months, there has been no shortage of successful people.

YAS HEAT won the second season of Sim Grid Endurance Cup, a series based on Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC).

They also performed well in the Sim Grid x VCO World Cup and the 2021 ISOWC IndyCar Championship, including the team iRacing lineup of Dean Woods, Balazs Remenyik, Joao Văz and Josh Lad.

However, perhaps the most impressive personal achievement to date is Inostroza’s qualification for the 2021 virtual Olympics.

The simulation racer from Chile participated in a week-long qualifying session, and only 16 of the 4,000 people advanced. Inostroza performed well and finally qualified after recording the fastest time in Central and South America.

YAS HEAT also participated in the two seasons of V 10 R-League, which is a global championship. They compete with some of the biggest brands in motorsports, including BWM, Red Bull and Williams, and participate in some competitions. The most famous circuits in the world, such as Silverstone Circuit, Monza Circuit and Yas Marina Circuit.

The broadcast rights of V 10 R-League were acquired globally by ESPN, BT Sport and StarzPlay Arabia. This was the success of the first season. In the second season, two more teams-Aston Martin and R8G were added. Payment in installments will increase the number of participating teams from 8 to 10. The third season, which is expected to be bigger and better than the previous two, is expected to be held early next year.

Although these achievements undoubtedly highlight YAS HEAT as one of the most competitive e-sports teams in the world and a force that cannot be ignored, with the approach of the Le Mans Virtual Series and many other championships, this team has nothing at all. Signs of slowing down.

Saif Al-Noaimi, YAS HEAT team leader, said:

“YAS HEAT’s achievements in just one year are breathtaking. We are fighting against established teams in the e-sports industry. We have won 493 games and 9 championships-this is incredible.

“However, we will not stop here. We have made a grand plan for the Yas Heat for the next 12 months. We will strive to be better than ever, continue our youth training program and participate more and more. Championship-we can’t wait!

“Of course, we must mention all our hard-working drivers, dedicated sponsors, and all the people behind the scenes who keep us running smoothly. Without them, the success and reputation we have established would not be possible.”

It can be said that the performance of YAS HEAT in the first year is impressive, and the future is undoubtedly bright.
