(Menarfin– Dubai PR Network) Yas Island Sea World Abu Dhabi celebrates Earth Day with an ocean-inspired sand mural on Yas North Beach
April 24, 2023, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: To mark Earth Day, Yas Island SeaWorld Abu Dhabi has created an inspiring sand mural on Yas North Beach, showcasing the beauty and diversity of our one ocean. The mural depicts the SeaWorld Abu Dhabi logo, the next-generation sea life theme park underscoring its commitment to raising awareness of marine conservation and environmental protection. The sand mural is a powerful symbol of this commitment and a celebration of the natural world we share.
This year on Earth Day, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi commissioned Guinness World Record holder Nathaniel Alapide, the Guinness World Record holder for the largest sand mural ever created, to create a stunning 20m x 20 Misha frescoes. The sand mural, which took 11 hours to complete, features a nature-inspired design and the park’s one ocean story—”We are connected to the ocean, and the ocean connects us all.”
Nathaniel Alapide shared his thoughts on the project, saying: “I am honored to be partnering with SeaWorld Abu Dhabi on Earth Day. Creating this sand mural is a unique way to remind everyone of our shared responsibility for conservation.” Ocean Responsibility, and I hope it inspires people to take action to protect the ocean.”
SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s commitment to marine conservation is reflected in its initiatives to raise public awareness of these important topics, with multiple beach cleanups organized in partnership with Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue – the first dedicated marine research of its kind , Rehabilitation and Return Center for Relief Agencies The region was inaugurated in February and is now operational. Sea World Abu Dhabi is committed to encouraging the public to care about marine life, raising awareness of marine conservation and environmental protection, and cultivating awareness of our common ocean management. Through its conservation efforts, education programs and sustainability initiatives, the park hopes to play a leading role in advancing the cause of marine conservation in the UAE and the region as a whole.
