World Travel Awards receive global acclaim
Yas Island and its world-class theme parks, experiences and attractions have won seven awards at the prestigious World Travel Awards 2022. In addition to being honored as the ‘World’s Leading Theme Park Destination 2022’, Yas Island also received the flagship ‘Middle East’s Leading Tourism Development Award for the fourth year in a row, testifying to Yas Island’s global reputation as a hub of leisure and entertainment. Abu Dhabi Ferrari World was once again named “World’s Leading Theme Park 2022” and “Middle East’s Leading Theme Park 2022”, while Emirates-themed water park Yas Waterworld was named “Middle East’s Leading Water Park 2022” and Warner Bros. .Abu Dhabi World was named “Middle East’s Leading Tourism Attraction 2022″. Amongst other awards, CLYMB™ Abu Dhabi, a record-breaking adventure center with the world’s largest indoor flight room and the region’s tallest indoor climbing wall, was honored with ” Middle East’s Leading Adventure Travel Destination 2022″.

Yas Island reaffirmed their stature with a host of acclaimed awards at the coveted Best of Arabia Awards, including Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi Best Family Attraction, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi Best Indoor Theme Park, CLYMB Best Indoor Adventure Park and Best Entertainment Destination Yas Island.

Yas theme parks and attractions have been honored in three regional categories at the International Tourism Awards, which celebrates destinations, attractions and hotels around the world.
Yas Waterworld was named the best water park in the Middle East and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi was recognized as the best family attraction in the Middle East.

By 2022, Yas Island’s portfolio of hotels, resorts and lifestyles is acclaimed across categories including dining and entertainment, as well as motorsports and golf.
Yas Marina Circuit and Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Abu Dhabi Formula 1 wins Gold for Sports Event of the Year, Best Sports Marketing Campaign at the acclaimed Sports Industry Awards of the Year (SPIA) and the Best Fan Engagement Award at a professional sporting event.
W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island has also been recognized by the UAE’s coveted What’s On Awards, with awards including Highly Commended Favorite Luxury Accommodation and Highly Commended Favorite Brunch. The Stevie Awards, celebrating the best business event, recognize Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi for their outstanding achievements in themed consumer experiences, as well as Yas Waterworld for their outstanding achievements in live events.
