In the picture, V, aka Kim Taehyung, wearing the sportswear he saw on a trip to Paris in June. Jenny is wearing a blue sweater and black pants in the photo. The photo was widely shared online by fans of BTS and BLACKPINK. “#JENNIE of #BLACKPINK and #TAEHYUNG of #BTS hanging out backstage. Are they just friends? Or more?” one fan asked.
Now, Soompi cites a source at BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment as saying, “BLACKPINK will be leaving the country on August 25 and they will be busy with a hectic schedule in the US, including the MTV Video Music Awards and their second Promotional activities for Zhang’s full-length album.”
A day before BLACKPINK’s departure, BTS’ V traveled to New York on Wednesday for the upcoming project. The singer showed up at Incheon International Airport in Seoul. In several videos shared online, he waved and bowed to fans. When someone wished him a safe journey, he replied, “Okay, I’ll go back well.”
V was seen wearing a cream shirt under a striped brown sweater and matching pants. On his Instagram Stories, V posted a clip for his fans. Although he didn’t say anything, he still smiled and danced a little. He released a clip featuring Daniel Lavoie’s Je voudrais voir New York as a background song.
This isn’t the first time V and Jenny have been linked. In May, a photo of V driving with Jennie appeared online. It is said to have been clicked on Jeju Island, South Korea. At the time, YG Entertainment said, “We have nothing to say.”
