What do 11 year olds usually do to beat boredom? For young South Korean Grace Joo-eun Choi, the pursuit of an exciting and lucrative career opened her doors to art, baking and travel before the 11-year-old decided to feature in her first book, The Way to drop it all Out Of Boredom: Italy, published by Austin MacAuley at Publishing City, Sharjah.

“I never think much about my travels. In fact, I used to get bored with some of the short trips I took with my family. When asked if she followed a definite method or writing process, Choi explained: “I don’t have a method when I write. Whenever I have an idea, I jot it down. Then usually within six months my The first draft is ready. My mother helps me with the design process and final revisions before my work is entrusted to a publisher.”
