
Enterprise Estonia will lead 12 Estonian companies to participate in the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX), the world’s most important tri-service defense exhibition. IDEX 2023 will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center from 20-24 February to mark its 30th anniversary.
Enterprise Estonia seeks to introduce and showcase Estonia as a capable and willing partner in the defense industry. Accompanying the participating companies is the Estonian Defense and Aerospace Industry Association, which aims to create better opportunities for member defense and security companies and contribute to the economic development of Estonia.
Among the companies highlighted at the Enterprise Estonia booth were Marduk, which specializes in drones; DefSecIntel, which provides state-of-the-art security and surveillance solutions to clients in more than 25 countries; Threod Systems, which provides Excellent UAV systems and subsystems.
Estonian Innovation
Furthermore, Milrem Robotics, known for its achievements in the defense sector, will further promote Estonian innovations at IDEX as part of its stand-alone stand. Milrem Robotic’s THeMIS – Unmanned Ground Vehicle – is a ground-armed unmanned vehicle primarily designed for military applications; it is manufactured in Estonia and used in 16 countries around the world.
Estonia’s unique combination of expertise and experience provides the ideal platform for research, development and management of cybersecurity solutions. The highest recognition for this expertise in protecting complex high-tech systems is NATO’s selection of Estonia as the home of its Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence, and the European Union’s selection of it as the home of its European Agency for Large IT Systems Management — trade arab news agency
