The 15th edition of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship is set to take place at Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City from November 1-11, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
The event, organized by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro, will see the participation of elite professional athletes from across the globe.
Abdul Moneim Al Hashemi, Chairman of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, President of the Ju-Jitsu Asian Federation, and Senior Vice President of the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation, expressed gratitude for HH Sheikh Khaled’s patronage, emphasizing his continuous support for the sport’s global popularity.
Al Hashemi also mentioned the event’s significance in bolstering Abu Dhabi’s status as the worldwide hub of Jiu-Jitsu.
He noted that over 6,000 male and female competitors are expected to participate, making the championship a renowned platform for athletes to enhance their global rankings and realize their aspirations.
