Even though 2023 is only a short time away, Abu Dhabi already has a lot to look forward to. A host of music festivals, global sporting events, performances by stand-up legends, concerts, musicals and more have been scheduled. Here’s a little taste of what we’re most excited about…
Zayed Day
You can still enjoy sky dramas and carnival fun at the ongoing Zayed Festival in Abu Dhabi. The weekly Fireworks Carnival takes place every Saturday at 10pm until the festival ends on March 18, 2023. That’s not all. There are plenty of activities for the little ones, such as a dedicated Kids Town and go-karts, as well as cultural parades, an art zone and even a dessert museum.

Comic Con
version 11 Middle East Film and Comic Con (MEFCC) Confirmed for March 2023, this will be its second time in Abu Dhabi. Celebrating all things pop culture, Comic Con continued its quest last year, moving from its former home at the Dubai World Trade Center exhibition halls to the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC). ADNEC will host The Capital Sequel from March 3rd to March 5th, 2023. Comic Con is a festival dedicated to the spiritual geeks in all of us – offering fans the opportunity to participate in A-lister meet & greets from entertainment icons, theaters, workshops, manga & anime art galleries, esports exhibits, and even characters Play parade.This year’s talent includes Doctor Who (Matt Smith), Andy Serkis and C3PO (Anthony Daniels).

To be determined. The T10s, the fastest and most exciting competition in cricket, could return to Abu Dhabi for a fifth time later this year. The Abu Dhabi T10 is known for its fast hitting, big swing, six strikes, lightning pitching, electric paced game that usually ends within a few hours. Two years ago, the UAE was effectively the center of the cricket world, hosting the T20 World Cup, IPL and T10 Abu Dhabi cricket in late January/early February 2021.The tournament also attracted some A-List cricketing legends, with impressive performances from Eoin Morgan, Andre Russell and othersMon Ali, Liam Livingstone and Faf du Plessis.
Formula One Etihad Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
It’s one of the highlights in Abu Dhabi’s global sporting line-up and an exciting final race on the F1 calendar – and now, with a firm date set, the 2023 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Tickets for Formula 1 are already on sale.
