2023 AJP Tour UAE National Jiu-Jitsu Championship to kick off July 7

Abu Dhabi: The 2023 AJP Tour UAE National Jiu-Jitsu Championships kicks off on 7th July at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi, delivering an action-packed weekend for athletes and fans alike. Organized by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation (UAEJJF) in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Professional Association (AJP), the event will bring together hundreds of athletes from different clubs and academies at different levels, including children, infants, teens and teens, Teens, Amateurs, Professionals and Masters.

The three-day championship, scheduled for July 7-9, will showcase the extraordinary skill and talent of jiu-jitsu athletes. The first day of competition will feature thrilling competitions for children, infants and teenagers. The second day will see the Junior, Junior and Masters classes taking center stage, while the third and final day will see intense competition between amateurs and pros.

UAEJJF board member Youssef Abdullah Al Batran emphasized the importance of the UAE National Jiu-Jitsu Championship on the federation’s agenda. “The UAE National Jiu-Jitsu Championship on the AJP circuit is high on the federation’s agenda and is eagerly awaited by fans and athletes. Laying the groundwork for the future of the sport.”

The upcoming international events provide excellent preparations, including the highly anticipated 15th Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championships scheduled for November.”

Al Batraan also recognizes the important role families play in motivating their children to play sports. He encourages them to take full advantage of the federation’s programs, programs and tournaments, which help develop players’ talents and prepare them effectively for their careers.

Rodrigo Valerio, Director of Operations, AJP, said: “The AJP UAE National Jiu-Jitsu Championship is of great importance to those participating in the AJP Tour Rankings as it will award 1,000 points to the first place winner, Give them a chance to move up the rankings. Rankings.”

Bernardo Morais, a famous Brazilian player from the United Arab Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Club who participated in the 62 kg professional competition, expressed his excitement for the competition. He added: “This competition comes at a critical stage of the season, allowing us to assess our readiness for the most challenging competition of the final season. The UAE National Championship will bring together a group of professional athletes to provide us with an interactive opportunity and gain valuable experience in developing our technique and fitness.”
