(CNN) ceremony for 54th NAACP Image Awards Happened on a Saturday.

The event recognizes the achievements of people of color in the arts, entertainment and culture for more than 80 categories. Quinta Brunson, Viola Davis, Will Smith and Angela Bassett were among the recipients of Entertainer of the Year.
