Nissan has launched the all-new 2023 Nissan Patrol in the Middle East with a host of aesthetic and technological upgrades, the first of which is NissanConnect innovative services.
To meet customers’ evolving needs, NissanConnect, the brand’s first-of-its-kind digital platform in the region, provides customers with a seamless connection between the 2023 Nissan Patrol and their smartphone to access a range of features that enhance the overall ownership experience.
Comprised of an in-vehicle device and an intuitive mobile application, NissanConnect provides customers with twelve unique and beneficial functions.
Three categories
They fall into three key categories, Navigation & Driving, Convenience & Comfort, and Safety & Car Health. Available on the 2023 Nissan Patrol in the Middle East, the new system enables customers to manage their Patrol’s connectivity, including remotely locking and unlocking doors, activating the horn and lights from a distance, and starting the engine to cool the cabin ahead of departure. Additionally, for added safety, NissanConnect offers customizable smart alerts for speeds, curfews and geographic boundaries to better monitor how, where and when vehicles are being used.

The Middle East has had strong ties to the region since the Nissan Patrol was introduced to the region in 1956. Inspired by the brand’s strong design aesthetic, the 2023 Nissan Patrol features a striking V-Motion chrome grille and 20-inch machine-cut alloy wheels. Stylized chrome on the bodywork emphasizes the vehicle’s visual width, while the signature design exudes luxury, with new Patrol branded side fender vent badges.
Inside, the driver and crew are welcomed into a premium and tech-laden cabin. A high-resolution 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity takes center stage in the dashboard, while two 10.1-inch rear entertainment screens, enhanced with screen mirroring, allow passengers to be more connected and entertainment.
The 2023 Nissan Patrol is equipped with a suite of Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM) features that provide drivers with a safer, smarter and more connected driving experience. Through multiple security technologies such as intelligent emergency braking with pedestrian detection, intelligent lane intervention, intelligent blind spot intervention, intelligent intervention rear cross-traffic alert, and intelligent cruise control, it ensures the safety of people in and around the vehicle.

Under the hood, drivers can choose from two powerful engines: a 4.0-liter V6 producing 275 hp and 394 NM of torque, offering a unique combination of power, performance and efficiency; or a larger 5.6-liter V8 that can Produces 400 hp and 560 Nm of torque for ultimate performance in the toughest conditions.
The V8’s direct injection system provides better wide-open throttle performance and is equipped with a dedicated Eco mode for improved efficiency. Both engines are mated to an advanced 7-speed automatic transmission with Adaptive Shift Control that ensures smooth gear changes while allowing the driver to manually shift gears for a more engaging driving experience.
Class-defining variable 4×4 modes allow for easy switching between drive modes and maximize the Patrol’s ability to drive effortlessly. Four dedicated modes (Sand, Road, Rock, Snow) with a locking rear differential and Hill Descent Control, supported by Hydraulic Body Motion Control, allow the driver to explore the less traveled road with confidence. Engine-speed-sensitive, power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering provides agile steering on and off-road.
Responsive braking is provided by a 4-wheel disc brake system with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist. Also standard on all models are 4-Wheel Limited Slip (ABLS) and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) systems with built-in kill switches for non-intrusive off-road adventures.
